ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Librarians’ main role is the management of information which is in the form of print and non print media. In recent time information in non print form is named as content or digital content. Management of these contents is equally important as compare to print contents. Content Management (CM) is the process of sharing contents important to an organization. How one can manage contents, index and share with others? What kind of security one needs to take care? Can librarians manage the organizational contents? Learn about CM from experts during the PULISAA’s workshop on "

Content Management using Google Sites”.

The basic aim of this workshop is to provide an opportunity to librarians to learn how Google site free tool can be used for the management of contents in an organization. It also focuses on the introduction of other content management software like Drupal, Joomla and Plone. The extensive practical knowledge will help you to create Google Site for management of contents and to provide information services to users. Hands on sessions on Google Sites for content management are a striking feature of this workshop.
The workshop is open to all.
